I have here a 1924 Peace dollar which was coated in red nail polish words since 1956. I soaked in pure acetone to remove the polish. Now the areas that had been protected are closer to original luster, while the rest of the coin toned naturally in a desk drawer for 57 years.

How would you grade this and what can/should be done (leave it the heck alone?) before it goes up on ebay? Is the uneven toning a major detriment. Is this - and I know it's common to begin with -just worth melt now?

Not sure if anything else could be done. The now exposed area's I do not think will tone to match unless a long long time goes by. I believe.

It looks XF details to me.
With this details, it should still be worth more than melt, probably around 30$ or so.
