Just joined this forum and this is my first post. I found a 1907
Indian Head penny the other day and started looking it over. It's in fairly good condition and I am able to read everything from the front and back of the coin clearly except for the mint mark, which is what I have a question about. I have read that the 1907 ones were only minted in Philadelphia and therefore have
no mint mark. Mine however, appears to be worn and be an S for the San Fransisco mint. Is this possible and it be an error or am I just seeing something that isn't there? Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated. I have not been able to take a good picture showing this or I would upload it but I am just curious as to if this is possible or not.
