Hey guys, a penny collector here,
I do search through pocket change occasionally, but I mainly forcus on cents, so bear with me for my lack of knowledge...
Anyway, I came across this 1968-D dime with a "chip" (if you will) in the lower right corner by the 8 (see below). Is this from circulation or did a die slip and cause an error? It appears to have streaks through the chip, which I why I even mention a die error, otherwise I would assume it was from circulation. The reverse does NOT have the same on the rim, and is intact throughout.
Any info or opinions would be greatly appreciated!
