I soooooo want this note. It's a good thing I dont work for the Colorado State Treasury, Division of Unclaimed Property. I wouold be tempted to dig up some old mans dead body and ask him for it!

Low serial numbers are pretty common on national notes, but I don't think I have ever seen a #1 before

It's funny the allure that a #1 serial number has. I sold sports cards on ebay for a while and it's the same with them. The #1's on the serial numbered cards always went for a premium. Along with that players jersey number.

If it was a newer series, like a 2003 series $1 bill, it would still sell for quite a bit of money. Maybe not a $1000, but I would guess around $500. The city Colby isn't a common bank. If this note was a star note it would be very godly. I would worship this note if it was a star.
