I haven't had any luck with credit unions either, but I have never found a rude teller at any institution. Even when I come in right before closing and the gals are heaving bags and boxes of pennies around for me, they always do it with a smile. I am usually wearing an Aloha shirt so along with my salt and pepper hair maybe I remind them of their favorite quirky uncle or something.
