to the Community!

I do not believe this is a coin. I moved your topic to the 'Tokens, Medals, and other Exonumia' forum to see if anyone knows more about it.

Assuming this is the piece you are referring to:

American-Legion-Commemorative-D-Day-Coin

American-Legion-Commemorative-D-Day-Coin

If sold on ebay, you can likely get $10 to $15 for it (unless you get lucky and have two bidders enter into a "bidding war"). If sold to a local coin dealer, you'd probably have a tough time getting $5.00.

The medal is a Franklin Mint item and, unfortunately, does not have the benefit of strong collector demand.

Hope that answers your question!

jbuck,

Did you change your comment or did I misread yours? All of a sudden my comment makes no sense (like usual).

I thought you had posted "you kill me." I have no idea how I got that from the post. Women always tell me I hear what I want to hear so maybe I see what I want to see as well. Feel free to delete my posts or change yours so mine makes more sense .
