Defiantly not a coin.

Thats what I found. What date was it made though.

part of a set of 16 medals issued by Cleveland Petrol a subsidiary company of ESSO (petrol) UK in the 1970s
I think they were struck by Pobjoy Mint "Campaign Medals of the British Empire".

Aluminium Diameter 19mm, 2mm thick, 1 gram
