I think there is just enough detail left on it to rule out all but S-123, what do you think?

Well, the base of each stem can be seen beneath the tails of the ribbon, which is the case for 123, but look at the 1 in the fraction. It's angled toward the right stem; on the reverse of 123 it angles toward the left stem. I would suggest S-137 for this one, which also has the 9 closer to the second 7, like your coin.
