Mystic2 Valued Member United States 147 Posts	Posted 03/25/2013 11:23 pm i got a really good deal on a 2c piece but it has the greenish oxidation or w/e it is(kinda new to coppers) on it and it dosent look to bad but other then that I think I got a steal is there anything I can do to clean it off without destroying the patina and value of my coin. I love my collection and would really love to get this cleaned but ill just leave it be if it will hurt the value I saw one of the same year selling for 28$ and I got mine for 7 Report this Post to the Staff

I use it all the time on coppers that have green stuff on it otherwise known as verdigris which is a type of corrosion that affects coppers.
