Hi bubble wrap  to the Forum. No have'nt seen this before & it looks pretty tacky IMHO. That big lip on the bottom of the Obverse of the coin is interesting though,shame they spoil it with that tacky gold stuff.

WELCOME!
Because of the beautiful reverse (dont tell trout I actually think this!) the canberra florin seems to be regularly used for jewellery. Some of the enamel jobs look quite well done, this one does not.

No not cleaned, VF to gEF a couple pushing up to aUNC. The seller is good,value ? whatever someone is will to pay at the end of the auction.

Noble's current auction has one of these in choice PROOF, lot 1468, est. $45,000. (illustrated) www.noble.com.au You can find it yourself here, if you wish. I will be viewing it on Fri 5th April, mainly for trout's interest.

ok thanks appleangel, will be watching these closely I would love the proof coin but 45k+, I don't think in a lifetime my whole collection would value that much let alone a single coin
