Hi bubble wrap to the Forum.

No have'nt seen this before & it looks pretty tacky IMHO.

That big lip on the bottom of the Obverse of the coin is interesting though,shame they spoil it with that tacky gold stuff.

WELCOME!

Because of the beautiful reverse (dont tell trout I actually think this!) the canberra florin seems to be regularly used for jewellery. Some of the enamel jobs look quite well done, this one does not.

Fully gold plated on an otherwise cleaned and ruined coin I may be able to accept But this is just plain awful and tacky

No not cleaned, VF to gEF a couple pushing up to aUNC.
The seller is good,value ? whatever someone is will to pay at the end of the auction.

ok thanks appleangel, will be watching these closely
I would love the proof coin but 45k+, I don't think in a lifetime my whole collection would value that much let alone a single coin
