I'm not a Barber guy but that coin looks awfully strong. The reverse strike is really hammered and looks mint state to me. The fields are quite clean and even though the obverse might have a rub, I think this one could grade choice mint state.

I would first pronounce this dime as AU 50 to AU 55. That is without examining it in person.
It could well grade higher, but I am quite conservative and would rather err on the side of undergrading
than overgrading.

It does have eye appeal and that means a lot to me.

Shouldn't all of these grading requests be moved to the Classic US Coin Grading sub-forum? They're likely to get more attention there for the OP's requests.

IMO, MatthewVincent has this one nailed! From the pictures, I would go with AU-55, but I have a feeling there's more to this coin than that...

(And I agree with Cheezyfryes, the Classic US coins Grading Section would be a more appropriate place for your coin grading requests.)

thanks for the comments. cheezyfryes you are correct, this should be posted under classic grading. this was one of my first posts and I saw others in this forum. will post to correct forum in the future. Moe145, you hit it on the head. In hand the reverse is stunning with full luster. Although the obverse looks like it may have some rub on it, it does not. I guess the pics did not do it justice. I have it graded as MS63. in consideration of that, do I have it graded to high or could it push a 64 or 65?

When I first saw it, AU was the first grade that popped into my mind. I am thinking mid to maybe high AU but is is possible that the pictures are not doing the coin any favors and it is mint state.

Looks like it certainly could be mint state but I don't think those pictures would be enough to narrow it down to which grade of mint state.
