Broken-Coin Pillar of the Community United States 1812 Posts	Posted 03/27/2013 11:49 pm I don't know why, but for some unknown reason I pulled 7 proof sets out of storage and decided to re-examine them, this time under my microscope. The last set opened was the 1986 Proof Set, and found what I believe is a 1986-s/s/s variety Lincoln Cent and hope to upload the photos to photobucket some time tomorrow [oops, almost midnight, make that later today] so I can post here. This thread is just a "heads Up" so others can check their proof sets and beat me to the punch. biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 03/28/2013 12:31 am An RPM would not be possible for that year because the proof S mintmark was added to the master die in 1985, five years before the business strike D mintmark was added to the master die.
