Just picked up the May 2007 issue of COINage magazine and found this picture article on page 14.

"It took some convincing, but the employee accepted COINage Contributing Editor David L. Ganz' 1877-S Trade dollar. The completion of his purchase of a Washington Presidential dollar using the Trade dollar made it legal tender."

Now why would do that?!!!
