Are we sure it's a die break? Looks like a deep scratch down the reverse. Can you get a close-up of the line? Is the line raised above the coin or recessed? If it is raised, that's a very nice looking break.

the dark line in upper center is on slab. the area on lower right side is raised.

The 72's are harder to come by... what did it grade out at?

PCGS VF20 The obverse looks much better than reverse.

I feel like a big goof. I never noticed the die break in the lower right. I was focused on the slab scratch. Nice camouflaged die break .

no biggie. The first photo I submitted on this coin had a comment posted on another message board that said " I have seen better pics of UFO's :)

someone on another board suggested this might be lamination error. I sent an e-mail with pic to Rick Snow to see if he could enlighten me since he is an Indian cent guru.

It could be a worn down die break or a worn down lamination might be possible too.

so if I sell this coin do I mention this? Nothing on front of slab from PCGS. Does it add any value because of rarity?

That is a very nice die crack, but not uncommon. I wouldn't expect a premium. Here is another coin with a similar die crack: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310628969463
