During the WWII years, with its manpower restraints at the Mint, the dies were used well beyond previous replacement criteria, and die cracks are common... You have found some nice ones... In 1943, the mint reported that 168 Obverse and 118 Reverse dies were used, and I have seen at least 45 unique Die Crack Minor Varieties on the Obverse and 50 for the Reverse.
Nice find. 43 seems to be the best year for die cracks, I've collected quite a few but this is the first reverse variety I've seen like that. Great pictures too, do you have one of the full reverse ?
