That's neat, good find but I thought that when the metal was missing from the coin it was called De-lamination?

The copper is laminated into sheets. When a portion falls off it is actually delamination, but we call it a lamination issue rather than defining what actually happened. Just like when we call a coin that was machine doubled, that includes die movement, die chatter, Strike Doubling, ejection doubling as these are all part of Machine Doubling. So we call it the general term.
