I sent one each fixed-aperture and variable-aperture 75ARD1's to Mark Goodman for testing, and he's published the results on his Macro Lens Tests page at the following URL:

http://coinimaging.com/Lens_tests.html

The results are pretty much as expected, but I'll let you read and conclude for yourself...

Thanks for the link Ray! And, thanks for sending these to Mark for testing. In the 1:1 and below range the resolution and sharpness both are in the "outstanding" range, and I'd have to say my uses of the lens certainly support this!

I'm extremely happy with this lens, and your advice and guidance over the past 2 years have been immensely helpful in me getting to a point where I'm happy with my coin images!

Glad that I've been able to help. I agree the lens is excellent, and the test results really show it to be as good as I've always believed.
