I have some coin sample material which seems to be displaying different metal options. These were bought from UK so they are most likely from Birmingham Mint that went bankrupt in 2003. Birmingham Mint did coins for foreign countries and I have not found information when they may have been dealing with Finnish Mint.

Does anyone have knowledge about possible date and purpose of these?

My guess would be something related to quality control?

50 Pfennig, 5 Mark & 1 Mark? have you checked the weight? Possibly coin weights or maybe a gauge block for calibrating a machine to produce coin blanks?

I have done some research about Birmingham Mint's activities with Finnish coinage. Birmingham Mint did supply machinery to Finland in 1929, and the items pictured here are matching size with Finnish 50 p, 1 mk and 5 mk coins that were in use in 1929.

There are 18 items in the lot with 50 p, 1 mk or 5 mk denominations, so that leads to some sort of work samples in connection with machinery.

There has been more of similar items with Krona denominations for sale in 2013 in the UK. Is there knowledge has Birmingham Mint done coins or machinery to Scandinavian countries, Sweden, Norway or Denmark?
