I picked this note up at a random antique shop about 10 months ago and have never really found much information about it.
Its Guerrilla issued Money from the island of Romblon in the Philippines.
I did have it at a show a couple weeks ago, One guy was very excited to see it and wanted it, but would not make an offer.
I did look this bill up in Specialty guide and there was VERY little info in there, No value also.

Does anyone know anything additional about this notes and perhaps a rough idea of value?

The only information I now know.
World War 2 Issue during Japanese occupation.
Island of Romblon in the Philippines
It is listed in the Specialty Currency guide, but no Value, Only a vague estimate of Mintage, and very very little information.
There are variations in the design(The one in the specialty guide has some slight differences in shape/size of design.

Hi CGCoins,
can I use your pictures from the bill?
I will ask some friends which collect old World Banknotes.
Perhaps somebody can help you with some more informations about your bill.
Greetings

Please feel free Hajduk. I appreciate it :)
I'm a coin guy, Bills are just foreign to me. I lived over in the Philippines for 2 years as a teenager and grew an apprication for the culture, was drawn to buy this bill when I saw it.

The Shafer catalog of Philippine Guerrilla notes does not give much more information than you already have. It states that there is little known about the Romblon notes other than the fact that they appeared on a list of notes in 1949 of the issues not to be redeemed. There were four denominations of the first issue -- 5, 10, 20 and 50 centavos. Only two denominations were made for the second issue -- 50 centavos and 1 peso.

When he wrote the catalog in 1974 Shafer put a price of $40.00 in Fine for the 20 centavo note shown in the OP. You may want to contact Ray Czahor at Cookie Jar Collectibles for more information. Ray specializes in Philippine material.
