Nice article, though I knew all this, but then the
Two Cent series is what I've specalized in since the early 1990's. Gotta love a short set of completable coins from the civil war era - in VF and better not that outrageous of cost to have a complete set even today.

Then I'd imagine there would be a whole lot more die variaties and tougher dates than just the 1864 Small Motto and 1872 coins (not counting Proofs). Also any full RED colored coins from that era would be super tough and rare today!
