I just picked this up and noticed and fairly strong doubled ear. Is this common and a known variety?

As I am not getting a lot of response to the above question, does anyone know who the Canadian error experts are? I would like to contact them directly with these pictures.

With fewer than 50 obverse dies used for 1946 it's highly unlikely that there is an unpublished, nonpopular die variety.

The Canadian collecting community really does not pay much attention to 'doubled ears' and other things, certainly not like the US variety collectors...

If you think THAT is a doubled ear, wait until we get the coins showing Queen Elizabeth II successor, Charles...

I have discovered that same variety with a doubled ear, doubled trees and die clashes on the heads of both the men in the canoe.
