2 boxes of halves picked up today. Found 2 1967s and a 1969 S circulated proof Clad finds 1973 S proof and junk stamped 1960-1985 1983 clad half Now for the unusual 1966 Great Britain 1 penny and 1852-1870 ( date unreadable ) Napolean 111 half dollar size coin this coin also has a Seated Liberty style well worn eagle on the reverse

Santafeboy, Yesterday, I found a half dollar (from the 1980's) that was stamped on the obverse. It said "1960 - 1980" I believe. If I had to say, I believe mine was 1983 too. Does that sound similar to the half you found? If so, those coins somehow managed to part ways, with one ending up in California and the other Oklahoma.
