There was a place called HUB CITY collectibles but rent got to high in his store front.

I should state that Hub City Collectables and Hub City Coins, are two different dealers... The latter is a coin and bullion dealer from Moncton, New Brunswick - Fraser Frizzell is the dealer there.

I do most of my shopping at coin shows, namely Coin Expo in Toronto and Nuphilex in Montreal. Having most of the dealers come to you, at a show, puts you in a better position as a buyer.

I've heard to buy ICCS coins as they often grade lower (ie are more picky) than the others. You get a quality coin and a better price for you.

How about Calgary Coins?
I have seen a lot of good material on how to spot fakes published by them on the 'Net.

I like Bill Merkeley, the London Coin Centre in London, Ontario. Lots of products, great guy to talk to, and very reasonable prices on his items.

I just bought the maple canopy from cdncoin.com, I haven't bought coins from a dealer website before, and I haven't received any update since I purchased it. Has anyone else used them before?

I've used Canada PMX (Mother company). Don't worry, they are very organized.

Second that. I have purchased from Cdn C&C in the past and you have nothing to worry about IMO.

They are very large and sell tons of coins directly and via the shopping channel.
