Nice looking coin

Tried to look up the RPD in "the complete guide to shield & Liberty nickels" By Gloria Peters & Cynthia Mohon. There is over 2 pages of listings for that Year. Closest I can find might be there number PM 03.41 which crosses to Fletcher's "the shield five cent series A comprehensive listing of known varieties" F#-19. Unfortunately they didn't have a picture of it so I can't be sure.

Just a tip from the knowledge I've been passed; the IHCs and Shield nickels are really the only major fields left for major die variety research. I can't remember who does the Shield nickels. My coin dealer has a unique piece that was photographed for a book. He mentioned the guy who was writing it, but I don't know if it is published or will be?

You might consider sending it in for attribution. CONECA would certainly help you out, I imagine. I don't know who does Shield nickels. Again, nice coin!
