The year, 1795. It's pouring rain but you have to go into town for supplies. Not knowing there is a tear in your coat pocket, you finally reach the town's general store, get your needed supplies and food goods, reach into your coat pocket to pull out your Half Eagle...not there. A weeks wages gone along the muddy dirt road

Been doing my best on the ID of the obverse die. Not easy, with BUSINESS being so indistinct. The top of the D is clearly lower than the top of the N in MIND, suggesting 4, 11, 16, and 18. The line that separates the exergue in Fugios is what I would call a variation of an "egg and dart" pattern, and the left upright of the N in MIND on this coin comes up to barely to the right of one of these "eggs," or rounded elements. Another egg is inbetween the D and Y. I think this narrows it down to 16, especially looking at FUGIO, where a line drawn across the top serifs of the you does not intersect the G, and the top of the I angles toward the G, and away from the O. Can't see a thing on the middle of the reverse, but only two reverses were paired with 16, H and N. What do you think?

On the 16 obverse, YOUR and BUSINESS start slanting upward gradually, especially the "UR" of YOUR. I can see this trend under a 10X so yes, 16 is a very good possibility.
