Hello all! I decided to put on a, in my opinion, fairly hard contest for this weekend only. The winner will receive a circulated 1962 (Silver) Canadian 10 cent coin. As I said the coin is circulated, so it is only worth bullion value. As of 10:09 PM Eastern time, that value would be only $1.62. As hard as I think this is, I know someone will probably get this quickly. Therefore, to make it a little more difficult, I want a very detailed answer to my question. The more details, the more points you will get. I wish I had a better prize but considering I just started this great hobby less than a year ago, and am on a very limited budget, I don't really have much to part ways with. First of all I am going to give you six numbers. The main question is, what do these numbers have in common? The simple answer to this question will give you 70 points. There are 5 pieces of information that I am looking for about each of the 6 numbers (30 total pieces of info). For every correct piece of info, you get 1 point. So if you get the main question correct (70 pts) and each piece of info correct (30 pts), you will have a perfect score of 100 pts. These numbers are in no particular order: 1) 550,000 2) 4,140,000 3) 1,380,000 4) 1,552,000 5) 3,737,500 6) 1,380,000 yes I know #3 is the same number What do these numbers have in common? Remember, the more detailed you are the better chance you have of getting the 5 pieces of info I am looking for about each number. -Contest is open to anyone in the US and Canada. (I am not prejudice, I just don't know how much it costs to ship overseas.) If you are overseas and want to answer, you can. You just won't win the prize. -I know this is a lot of work for such a little prize but it will be fun! -HINT - I know the answer can be found in the 2013 Red Book. Not sure about any of the others. I know the answer can be found on the internet. - PM THE ANSWER-CONTEST ENDS SUNDAY (4/7/2013) NIGHT @ 9 PM EST. UNLESS NO ONE GET IT. IF NO ONE GETS IT I WILL EXTEND IT.

Jay, I have answers to your quiz but you do not have the ability to PM you turned on. I'm ready to send when you turn that on. Thanks!

Also cheezy, if you would rather have 6 or 8, F to VF wheats for you and your daughters album, you can trade the Canadian dime. (If I have any extras that you guys need.) My son is 5 and he likes coins just a tiny bit. I can't get him into it full force.

Contest is over! Cheezyfryes scored 100. Thanks to those who looked. However, this wasn't a very successful first contest as Cheezyfryes was the only person to respond.

Copied from cheezy's PM.
Goodness, I was thinking too hard about this! These are examples of the highest price paid for each of the major coin denominations that are still "in production" (via other series) today. I'm revising my answers as follows.
As for your 5th piece of information for each coin, I'm going to have to just guess: The number known in existence? I could find this info for all except two. If I'm incorrect, I'll just take the hit on my overall score. :-) Thanks again, this was fun!

Glad I took the time to respond! Like the lottery, you can't win if you don't play... Although our odds are a LOT higher here at CCF!

That involved math-like number things and I don't like that so my head just exploded.
