I called APMEX and asked if I ordered 20 Kooks if they would come in the mint sleeves and was told they wouldn't guarantee it. Does anyone know anyone who does guarantee it?

I don't think so. Kooks are considered bullion coins and they come w/ their own capsule, 20ea are shrink-wrap together. The Koala 1oz (used to) & 1/10oz do come in special mint package/sleeve and cost more.

The shrink wrap is the sleeve I was talking about. APMEX called it a sleeve.

I would think you would get a full roll if you were looking for the current year and they had a lot in stock. They probably are just covering themselves, but I'd be very surprised if they sent you 20 loose coins that they individually put into zip-locks rather than just grabbing a tube from their inventory.

I was surprised too. But most coins state in description if they come in mint tubes or sheets.

Just received 4 2012 gold lunars (1/4 oz). They were delivered in capsules in a shrink wrap sleeve. Didn't think that was from the mint. I just figured APMEX did it so they wouldn't roll around during shipping. Sleeving 4 coins at the mint seems silly. But maybe they were sleeved at the Perth Mint.

Yep, I just received an order of Kooks from Provident Metal, expecting them to be in a mint tube. Instead, I got 4 ziplock baggies, each containing five Kooks in individual capsules. Ah well, still better than the blister packaging that my Britannias came in...

Anything is better than blister packaging for Britannias

Pricing is way off asking $45/ea for a $32/ea coin.

You could still wrap up your on rolls in polyethylene Glad Wrap, and that stuff can be removed just as easily, if you want to. Almost as good as air tight packaging, with no deterioration to the coins over the long term. AND it costs next to nothing!

Have you tried goldmart? give them a ring and see if they will sell them to you this way.
