Could Somebody Please Help Tell Me What This Coin Is

echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 04/07/2013 2:13 pm to the community. You are correct it is Antoninus Pius, however there isn't enough reverse detail to attribute a RIC number. Maybe someone with better eyesight than I can tell you more. Report this Post to the Staff

Antoninus Pius, Sestertius, after 145 AD, Rome. 24,11 g, 30mm. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP TR P COS IIII, laureate head right / S-C, Securitas seated left, holding sceptre and propping head on left hand (sometimes a flower under chair). Cohen 757, RIC 782. Does this match? I'm worried that the metal might be wrong. (brass) Report this Post to the Staff
