First MD Attempt At A School - Coin Community Forum

skyshark124 Pillar of the Community United States 1109 Posts	Posted 04/07/2013 5:41 pm I finally decided to try my metal detector out at the local school in the city where I work. I only checked the front side of the school though since I had too much to do before it got too late today, but here's what I found of interest: $2.09 in change, a key, a small lock, and two rings. I felt like being nice so I didn't photograph the heap of junk pulltabs and paperclips I found. Not bad for just 1/4 of the schoolgrounds. * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

One of the quarters was torn into like it was hit by a lawn mower blade. I had to flatten it back down to put it in my coin roll tube. Who knows how many times it got a haircut before I found it. I found a 1916d merc dime in holdenville oklahoma. 11 yrs ago. it was stuck between the floorboards of a porch at grannys house. a dream find I've never topped it Report this Post to the Staff
