I received this coin from a friend. I live in Canada, therefore, I don't collect UK coins.

Are there links of information for this penny? (mintage, value, varieties, etc)

Thanks!

Value: In the UK you can find these for a pittance (if you know where to look, that is), over seas id say about £1, ebay you'd probably get £1 BIN.
mintage: Its a 'low' mintage one - 14,324,400 were made. This doesn't increase the value though.
Varieties: none listed. They really didnt make that many modifications to dies.

One of those coins that's actually worth less than the cardboard holder it's contained in.

I'm not sure there are NO varieties. However they are a specialised area and to buy the best books on the subject (Michael Gouby's "The British Bronze Penny 1860 to 1970" and Michael J. Freeman's "The Bronze Coinage of Great Britain") would be expensive and the levels of variation tends to be whether the trident points to a tooth or not, or the alignment of the legend lettering, border width, that sort of thing. (You can just tell it's not my area of interest, can't you?!)
