I was the underbidder on this coin and now I keep thinking I may have missed out.

The toning does not look like AT from the blurry pictures (That made me a bit nervous). Should I have bid higher?

You missed nothing except a chance to throw away money. IMO that coin went for more than its' worth. Although possible, I don't trust the toning; it's too "perfect" on each face. You don't often see that with an NT Morgan. Furthermore, I think the poor photography is masking a circulated coin.

You can do better.

She's a nice one alright, but it went IMO about $15 - $20 over grade. From the pictures I'd put it around MS 60-61, so $52 - $60 would have been my limits.

But with that said, I've certainly paid more than a coin was worth because of my perceived need and OCD.

The toning looks iffy to me though I am not completely sure it's AT. I don't think I would have bid that much.
Rest in Peace

It looks like AT to me. There is not any pull away around the stars and lettering which makes me think it's recent toning. If it went for less than $70.00 it's not a true monster toned Morgan. As SsuperDdave said, you missed nothing in my opinion also.

Nice coin, yes... but I'm in agreement w/ everyone else. You can find a better one for around the same price
