Sorry nickelsguy should look around more closely. By the way do you still have your counterfeit information for sale? You had it on ebay some time ago

pfrien less than a week ago in another thread you said you were new to collecting and interested in Vicky quarters. You've obviously been doing your homework.Keep it up,knowledge will prevent disappointment and guarantee satisfaction with your collection.
Those markers appear on almost all of the counterfeit Victoria 25cents.

I am a sucker--I love that coin. Surely if it is a fake--- there must be many around- 200 at least? Don't fakes become famous?

"You've obviously been doing your homework.Keep it up,knowledge will prevent disappointment" - thanks DBM and good advice. I am learning but I just wish there was more written for the novice. I began coin collecting this January. I have worked in the investment field for nearly 30 years and so I realize that it may take years before I can confidently grade coins. My experience has been a real trial and error thing. I think about half of my purchases have been wrong primarily due to wishful thinking. Fortunately making a mistake on a coin is not as expensive as making a mistake on a stock investment. I don't think I will go broke buying coins, but stocks, now that is a different story.

lambecolin, if you believe that the people are wrong in saying it is a fake even with the images shown and other threads posted......then yes, you are a sucker.

Sad to see the coin is still listed on ebay.com must have been reported a number of times by now, usually when nickelsguy gets involved the counterfeit is removed quite promptly.

There is another feature of this counterfeit that does not belong on an 1870,and is only found in conjunction with OBV2. Anybody?

ebay allowed the auction to run its course. Please check the feedback the seller has already received from the buyer. ebay then removed the auction but left the feedback. seb3.418 is the seller.

Nice Mikeymar, I would have paid up if it was cheaper and had seller send direct to RCMP investigators. I forgot about my counterfeitcoinbuyer acct. You are the MAN!! ebay sent me a notification in French.
