I am learning but I just wish there was more written for the novice. I began coin collecting this January. I have worked in the investment field for nearly 30 years and so I realize that it may take years before I can confidently grade coins. My experience has been a real trial and error thing. I think about half of my purchases have been wrong primarily due to wishful thinking. Fortunately making a mistake on a coin is not as expensive as making a mistake on a stock investment. I don't think I will go broke buying coins, but stocks, now that is a different story. Report this Post to the Staff
