Hi all. I have a 5 pence 1992 that is 95 degrees rotated. Is this of interest to anyone? I'll post a photo if so. Debbie.

Hi again. This is the rotated British 5p 1992. The small dot at the top of the pic is the top of the coin holder and in the same place both side.

What do you think? Debbie

I now have 3 more error 5p coins.1 is from 2008(shield design), but not rotated. It is actually all copper on the obverse, and mainly copper on the reverse. The 2nd one is from 1996 and has an unmilled edge. The third is from 2009, again without a milled edge.I also have a DNA £2.00 coin with the letter "I" missing from the edge inscription.

Hi Debbie, That 1995 5p coin is way more than 95° Rotated. I make it closer to 280° rotated.

The 180 degree rotation 5p error appears on ebay every now and then. There was one on for a buy it now of £60 for a good while. Although its a very impressive error, it appears on a denomination that is not particularly collectable. I would say you could get £30-40 for it if you are patient. Definitely don't put on ebay in auction format..you won't get the best price for it that way...I won't often say that!
