Hi,
I was wondering if anyone uses the subtitle option on your ebay listings (for the higher value things) and was wondering if you w=find that they help?
Thanks!

Also, does anyone know if when you search for something, does it look through the subtitles to pull up matches?
Thanks!

I dont have any data on it but I dont see the appeal of paying extra for them. The other information should be in the listing anyway and usually its the picture that causes someone to look at the listing anyway. If the option is free though I would use it

I believe it costs 50c for an auction.

Okay, thanks for the input!

In my experiences, it does search the subtitles. I never do them, but for higher items that you know will sell quickly, I think it would be a good idea. For example, I have seen truck part listings say 1979 ford truck part....... and then in the subtitle include the years 1973-79 because the parts are compatible with them.

Yeah, that would make sense. I don't think I will use it for my coins then.
Thanks!

I did a search for a type of coin. The word I used was not in the title of one of the coins, but it was in the text of the description and the search found the coin. It listed it in the "More items related to" section after the first section, however, so it's obviously not so effective if there are a large number of coins in your search category.
