Does anyone know the reason that the 2008 Red Book has the 1999W $5 Tenth-Ounce Gold Proof valued at $170 compared to the 2007 value of $100. The 1998W proof had a mintage of 20,000 and is valued at $110 but the 1999W proof has a mintage of 48,426 and if valued much higher. I know someone here will know or have a reason for the difference in price. Also, are the more recent years with lower mintage going to be worth more in your oppinion?

Doc, I noticed another error in the book, one of the $10 Indian Eagles was overpriced by $300 or so. There was a thread last week, a couple of folks were discussing other errors in the book as well. So much for proofreading before going to press, eh?

Thanks TSmith. Sometimes 1+1+1 doesn't always equal 3. This just didn't make since so I didn't know if I missed something.
