I checked, and even the 1870 obverse #1 quarter has a higher mintage.

MS 65 sells for more than $65 dollars. Rolls have been seen.

Could the price reach (MS 65) $2500 in the next few decades?

Value of coin has to do with more than just amount minted...

How few of those older coins survived in higher grades to this day as compared to how many MS 1991 coins are around...?

There is a readily available supply of 1991 quarters available to collectors and as such the demand is not likely to ever make this a premium high price coin...

If a guy could buy up as many of these as he could get his hands on, he could guarantee you that it would be a premium high price coin.

I've always wondered what would happen if someone did that! I've gotta wait until I win the lottery or something though...

I had 10 mint rolls, but sold all of them at a very good price...

I've seen a mint roll for $500. It was double-stapled in a plastic bag for some reason, though, so I assume it's changed hands a few too many times or completely fake (the ends do look MS, but what do I know).

Hopefully I'll just find one in a roll. I found a 2012 old-style loonie on my first try, so it could happen...

Don't quote me on the quantity, but at one of the shows I overheard Bromberg saying he sold something like 200,000 of 1991 quarters still in the roll. I would really like to know the numbers for sure, if anyone knows Bromberg on a personal level maybe they can ask him?

Another quarter that is often overlooked is the 1992 caribou quarter which was only minted for the PL sets. I have seen these at the shows for only a few dollars and I scoop them up whenever I can.

I, as a rule, manage to buy or hold on to the wrong coin. In this case I pulled 30 or 40 from circulation, hope they do go up.

The 1991 25 cents has about the same chance as the USA 1950 D Jefferson nickel in my opinion.

@fed_ink85

How about the 2005 Liberation silver 25c? Only 3500 made and yet it has no following at all.

Business strikes get the major premium.
