I would like to know more about them, maybe if any are copper or silver, and what they may be worth. Coin 1: 1953 50 centavos Brasil Coin 2: 1951 10 francs republique francais Coin 3: 1960 1 dong Vietnam cong-hoa Coin 4: 1954 repulika ceskoslovenska 10 Coin 5: 1959 cinco centavos mexicanos Coin 6: 1965 1 franc republique francaise Coin 7: Copper in color, foreign language unknown, shows a man with military medals Coin 8: 1971 New Pence 2 Any help will be appreciated. They seem to be common junk box finds, so I guess their values depends on the dealer. Some price at 3-4 per dollar and some are 10 for a dollar. Coin 7 may be from Thailand if the fellow is wearing glasses, or maybe Taiwan if not. A picture would get you a quick ID. en.numista.com is also a good site to browse with a good search function. I suppose you have the first one, which is an aluminum coin worth a nickle or dime. The 10 Koruna coin in 50% silver but not common (Mintage 250K). That would be worth way over its $4.50 bullion value. Quote: Coin 2: 1951 10 francs republique francais In 1960 there has been a currency reform in France, whereby two zeroes were dropped.
