I don't know if there are many other ebay stockholders in the forum, but a couple weeks ago, ebay sent me (through my stockbroker) a package of materials in preparation for the annual stockholders meeting which starts at 0800 PDT on 23 June. Since the meeting will be in California and I'm in New York State, it doesn't look like I'll be in attendance.

However, ebay sent me all sorts of very dry reading material so that I could intelligently vote by proxy on a bunch of proposals, none of which will have any meaningful effect on ebay's day to day operations such as we observe at our level. I've been a stockholder for two years and this is the first time I've received such materials.

More importantly, it's nice to know I have the option (and was cordially invited) to attend and vote my shares in person. Next year, I'll be a few thousand miles closer and maybe I'll attend and make a little presentation (pjd 1966 comes to mind ).

Anyone else on the list hold ebay stocks?
