jkol2369 Pillar of the Community Canada 607 Posts	Posted 04/15/2013 1:53 pm I don't think its a fake. My uncle sent me a bunch of these drachmai banknotes and I found this one among the notes. He is a banker manager in some bank in Athens so I really don't think its a fake stamp he could easily access a stamp like that. He said he knows nothing about the notes he just sent me them because he knows I collect banknotes and coins. Thanks for your input. ;) Report this Post to the Staff

In Scotland, it's not illegal to own counterfeit banknotes but it is illegal to produce them or utter (offer in exchange for good, services or cash) them. Report this Post to the Staff

Although it is not legally allowed this bill is not more interesting for a Authority. Whether the bill is really valuable for this you have to find a collector which wants bills like this. A very special, small market are counterfeits. I find the counterfeit bills together with the originals very interesting. Here I have a French example. Sorry for my bad english.
