Hello
Because of this coin being a counterfeit stamped by the bank would that make it more scarce than the original or a official issue. Any info would be great. Thanks

If that an official issue of that note is fairly cheap, then most likely that stamp is fake.

I don't think its a fake. My uncle sent me a bunch of these drachmai banknotes and I found this one among the notes. He is a banker manager in some bank in Athens so I really don't think its a fake stamp he could easily access a stamp like that. He said he knows nothing about the notes he just sent me them because he knows I collect banknotes and coins.
Thanks for your input. ;)

interesting jkol2369 but you need to be aware that it can be illegal to own counterfeit banknotes

I think it must depend on the country/state in which you live.

In Scotland, it's not illegal to own counterfeit banknotes but it is illegal to produce them or utter (offer in exchange for good, services or cash) them.

The Greek currency is no longer exists, It is not more valid cash.
Although it is not legally allowed this bill is not more interesting for a Authority.
Whether the bill is really valuable for this you have to find a collector which wants bills like this.
A very special, small market are counterfeits.
I find the counterfeit bills together with the originals very interesting.
Here I have a French example.
Sorry for my bad english.
