The coin is a Chinese Cash Coin of Kang Hsi 1661-1722 a.d.

Your note is officially a Japanese note and has a Chinese overprint. It is listed in the Standard Catalog of World Paper Monday General Issues under China-Japanese as # M27. Only worth a couple of bucks or so.
