Hello All, I'm Coopvh! I have recently gone looking through my things and uncovered some coins I purchased some time ago! I have found two slabbed Lincoln 1c's. With the tag '1956-D MS-67RD' And I have one loose, but is the exact same as the other two in the same condition, maybe even better than one of the slabbed coins. In short, I would just like to know what this sort of coin is worth? If it is of any help it says, 'Gallery Coin Company' on the tags, also. *** Email Removed by Staff ***Thanks, looking forward to any answers. -Coopvh

Can you provide images of the slabbed coins? I am not familier with "Gallery Coin Company". And I have removed your email address. Turning on your email address in your profile would allow members to email you without exposing your email address to web-trollers.

Unfortunately that looks like a basement slabber where you cant really put any stock into the label. PCGS NGC ANACS and ICG are the reputable companies currently with the first three holding the most weight.
If one of them had graded that youd be look at the 300-400 dollar coin each.

I think Gallery Coin Company is what is generally described as a "basement slabber". I don't think its an actual TPG. The coins look good. But I don't give opinions on grade, sorry.

I agree with the above posts. This slab is "put-together" and not worth the plastic it's made out of. The coin might still be a good one, highly unlikely a 67RD though.

They sure aren't ms-67 RD. Just some guy slabbed them himself.

Ugh... that is a nice coin. It's always tough to tell about a coin photographed through plastic. Have you tried taking it to a coin shop and asking for some information? I think they might give you an opinion on the grade and you'll have to make a choice between cracking it and putting it into an air-tite, or cracking it and sending it to be graded by a genuine TPG. Good luck... it's a good new story. You have a nice coin!

As noted, this is not a legit grading company. Chances are slim the coins are actually MS-67 but they do look pretty nice. Sometimes basement slabbers put decent grades on the slab but mostly they way over-grade to try to make huge profits from the unknowing.
Odd are these are actually closer to MS-64-66 coins rather than 67's. An MS-67 coin could fetch $400-600 in a top-tier slab but in reality these are probably worth less than $20-30 each.
