Just curious about what you guys have picked up over the weekend/week so far. Would be interesting to see if most of us kept in line with our spending habits or tried to take advantage of lower prices.
I myself bought a 1/10th oz Gold Year of the Snake. Just arrived today. I love it. I usually try to only spend about 100 dollars on each purchase (student budget...) but I decided to treat myself and splurged.
So what are your recent acquisitions?

Most of the dealers in my area still keep their prices of silver high to avoid loosing too much profits.

The only thing I can find anymore is from online dealers. I really don't buy a lot of bullion anymore and have focused more on 90% silver coins over the last three or so years. If silver goes back below $20 I might step up my bullion purchases as long as I can get it locally.

I'm waiting for the dust to settle first, though its testing my patience, I know its the sensible thing to do.

I picked up a 2013 Silver Eagle for $32.95 from the local coin shop. Since people were actually paying that price for the identical coin on ebay, I figured it was a good deal.

A new shop in my city opened Monday, so they have no precedent to follow in silver pricing and they're happy to sell just above spot (even for Canadian silver dollars!).
Today I got: - 1939 silver dollar, I've always liked the Parliament Hill design. Only $14.50! - American 1964 AU-55-ish set, maybe low MS, with a silver half, quarter and dime. Also included a nice red (a couple spots though) 1964 cent and a good-looking nickel. Great silver value and good condition for $15.

Those sound like great pick ups nalaberong.
I agree with what a few of you have said about holding off until things settle, but I figured making a relatively tiny purchase wouldn't really hurt either way. I don't (and probably will never) have enough to be hurt by any crazy price changes :P.

I placed an order for a 5 oz. Silvertowne bar. Have bought four or five bars previously and they delivered each time. I have faith they will do the same this time as well. At $132.40 I couldn't resist.

I've bought four 1oz silver coins since the dip, although I probably would have bought them regardless. At the end of the day I'm a collector, not an investor.
