2012 Old Style Loonie, What Are These Going For Nowadays?

nalaberong Pillar of the Community Canada 2805 Posts	Posted 04/18/2013 8:37 pm Found this in the first loonie roll I've ever opened: It's been around, but it still has a shine to it (loonies seem to get dull fast). Has any information surfaced about the value of these in circulated grades, the rough mintage numbers, the proportion of old-style to new-style made, etc.? I'm glad I found it but it seems like there's not much information about how they've circulated since their release. Report this Post to the Staff

Only 5 have sold this month at an average price of $9.75 each. There were a few Buy It Nows that didn't sell, some at a higher price, some at a lower. Report this Post to the Staff

When the mint rolls came out, I purchased five of them and I'm down to my last few coins (I have 5 loonies saved for my personal collection). I've tried to purchase more but they have dried right up. They are available in the mint sets from last year (O Canada, Birthday, Wedding etc.) Report this Post to the Staff
