Extremely good fakes of these exist. From the pictures here, this one looks OK. I think it is prudent to always check for weight and do a comparison ring tone test against a genuine known example. I have a few fake and genuine Chinese Provincial dollars, but none of them quite as nice as this one. Report this Post to the Staff

The Kiangnan dollars command a very high premium, though I paid about Â£180GBP hammer. The proof of the pudding is how it does at NGC.
