Coin looks OK to me Which coin book you using ? Standard Catalogue of the coins of Scotland, Ireland, Channel Islands & Isle of Man by R Lobel Collectors Coins Ireland 997AD to 2003 (21st Ed 2004) by R.J Marles say nothing about reeded edge on 10 pence. BTW it was contemporary forgeries I was referrng to, mainly silver washed brass. The rim on yours looks to be mercifully free of too many dings and dents. Nice piece. Report this Post to the Staff
