Here's some bills that I've found (Found the $1 today, and the $5 bills a couple months back.) in my till at work. I'm posting partly because they are neat and I think you guys would like them, but I'm also curious if I have much value here (I'm rather un-knowledgeable when it comes to bills). Thanks for looking!

Hi flappity!
First !

WE always love looking at interesting serials, and I'd reckon the $1 might have some premium on it because of the fancy serial. Unfortunately it isn't in UNC grade so you might only get $5-$10 on it on ebay. The $5 bills are face value I'd say even if you do have matching series across different blocks.

Pretty cool finds and I'd say you should keep them!

Yeah, I have never once sold anything I've found (paper or coin). The entirety of my collection (save for a silver canadian quarter) is all stuff I've found "in the wild" (out of my till, for the most part). I like the idea of building a collection entirely out of "found" things rather than buying stuff. And I don't do it to make money, I just love silver, and I love numbers (hence why I look at the serial of every bill that goes through my till, which can be $2-3000 daily)!

I have no idea what to look for really.. I mean there's the repeaters/ladders/binary/radar serials that I might find, but I'm unsure about low serials. I have some star notes with 000xxxxx serials, but I really have no idea what makes a star note command a premium (above just being a star note). I also look for ones that could be dates.

Low print runs, web notes, errors and high condition notes are a few things to look for. As for star note most collectors want the SN to start with four zeros. Here are a few links you might like: http://www.mycurrencycollection.com...s/lookup.php

The matching $5's are really neat. They are popular on ebay now. They would be great if CU though.
