I agree this coin should never make MS 65. The person was selling them for his wife and he just skidded them out of that jar (a few times)at our work and I cried each time that he did it.
Luckily, I got to buy them soon after,..and into 2 by 2's they went.. This got the ball rolling as to my start at coin collecting.
I dipped many of the others from that jar but could not on this 35. The toning was just so even across the whole coin.
Most blazers that you see from the 30's or 40's have been dipped,..but if it's done quickly,.. you don't remove much frosting..
....but dip it a few times,.. and the coin is cooked.
