I wouldn't trust any documentary. I can narrate anything I want in front of old moving pictures and people will think it's legitimate. Add in evil powers (common enemy) and it all seems justified. Nobody is allowed to agree with Hitler or the Nazis because it's taboo.
Just listen to some of the "old-time" recorded voices in this doc - they don't sound like they were recorded in the 1940s; it's almost laughable. That, and the woman narrating repeats lots of gold propaganda facts. Lies mixed in with facts are harder to find than outright lies. Documentaries never state their sources anyways - they can say whatever they want and because there are no actors it all seems like truth. Be careful what the media tells you.

All I know is the part with the Polish and French gold is partly true, but most of Poland ,s gold was in west Africa.

I watched it all and definitely learned a good bit. However, I was highly suspicious of the timing of it in relation to the current PM's drop in prices. The only two statements contained in the article that concerned me were the lack of a recent inventory of Ft. Knox and that wealth follows the physical possession of gold. Both statements if true, would speak ill of the current political situation in the US. If just one is true, it also speaks ill of the federal reserve board and would likely cause major economic harm. Either way it makes me want to check on it further. After all if the gov't can force the turn in of gold once it can do it again.

What I found most interesting and alarming I think is how easy it is to manipulate the market. That being said, I don't mean for any of us as individuals but on a large scale such as the 2 companies named, that is simply mind boggling. And if what they are saying about the physical quantity of gold does not match the paper quantity, that could mean the ruin of a number of different countries. I wonder what the fallout from the IMF using let's say Paraguay's gold to finance an internal blunder of some sort as the doc suggests......hmmmm

Amazing to think that Canada has ZERO gold reserves!!! Maybe the smartest thing is to do exactly that---produce and sell gold for petro-dollars which can be put to good use immediately!!

I was shocked to see that the Bank of Canada vault had no gold. Guess they sold all their big gold bars, and then realized what was left in the cupboard.... Let's get rid of the old gold $5 and $10 coins in another vault...to buy high quality debt paper instruments.
I like the documentary, especially talking about all that gold and silver in sunken ships.
