Hi everyone. Eventually, I will move this to the selling area, but I wanted you all to see a very nice e-book that I think would be very helpful for beginner collectors looking for coins in change or at the flea market. Because it's downloadable, it's also very convenient for our friends overseas since there is no shipping charge. Here is the link to the ebay auction. I am well acquainted with the author and helped to edit it, so I feel very confident in recommending this book:

I truly enjoyed the time I spent working with the author on this. He's really a great guy (and has actually joined the forum). As he doesn't have 50 posts yet, I cannot reveal his name yet, but I'm sure he's going to be a great member. Thanks so much for supporting his efforts.

In case you haven't figured it out, DoubleDie is Daniel Malone who wrote this book.

As he has now reached his 50 posts, he is welcome to promote his book and his ebay sales here on CC. He is a very honest seller and I feel he can be trusted.

Daniel, I hope you will now put a link to your ebay auctions in your signature.

I want everyone to know that-even though the book is called a "Beginner's Guide", it is not just for beginner collectors.

I used this title so beginner's wouldn't think it was another complicated and difficult to understand coin book.

This ebook has has all type coins listed along with their key and semi-key date book values, full color pictures of every type, a list with pictures of common errors (many of which are posted on this site weekly for advice).

Also a list of variety coins that can still be found in pocket change, among other things like the location of designers initials, mint marks, and common date price ranges and other tid-bits about each denomination and/or type.

The book is packed with useful information but is only 42 pages in length making it an easy reference tool to look up coins or print out and thumb through at a flea markets, auctions or garage sales.

It can serve as a tool to brush up your memory before you buy a coin(s).
