Well I took my weekly trip to my coin shop this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when my dealer told me of a kind elderly lady who had contacted him concerning some old foreign coins. It appears she is ready to sell as soon as they can figure out what she has and the grade. My dealer tells me there are at least 12 high grade world crowns from the 1600's and 1700's from France and Spain! I AM GOING NUTS HERE just thinking about the possibilities and then he tells me about another dozen or so heavily circulated coins and many of them from Great Britain! I CAN'T HARDLY contain my anticipation and will keep in constant touch until I can see these babies lying in my own hand! Will keep you posted on what exactly is there, their grades and the prices to get them. Oh how the darkside has gotten me!  |

So Terry, you decided to make us all nervous wrecks wondering if that 1 in a million find is in there.  LOL This is like asking a trivia question that nobody knows the answer too and drives everyone nuts thinking about it!!! I can assure you all that I will NOT be able to keep all of these coins if I can get my hands on them so that mean my FRIENDS will have the opportunity to get in on the action. I will keep you, MY FRIENDS, posted on this matter! Hopefully it will happen in the next couple of weeks!!!

I kind of like it, no matter who penned it. It does have a Sheakpearian lilt to it. I'm already sucked in, just not on moderns! I think we should adopt the "Darkside" song as our anthem!!! Mike  |

I believe the quote is from a Star Wars movie, said by Darth Vader to Obie Kenobe (sp?).

Correct Susan. (Very rare I have much to do with Star Wars but that quote sums the Darkside up better than any other, and in more ways than one). |
